Calvary's Christmas Kids 2010 Project report

Did you know we had adopted kids? Yes we did!  During the 2010 Christmas season Calvary Church adopted the children of about 55 women who are incarcerated in Shelby County.  Liz Woody leads a Bible study with these ladies each Wednesday morning and she felt that God was leading her to take on the project of helping to provide Christmas to their children. Calvary Church responded marvelously with gifts, smiles and a warm hug to family members.  We were able to provide Christmas for over 150 children.  See below for some photos of the gift distribution.  Thanks for helping these ladies and their children know that someone really cares!
