WHAT HAPPENS AT CALVARY CHURCH?
When you arrive at our church you’ll be greeted by one of our warm and friendly people! Our Welcome Team will be available to help answer any questions you may have about our church and to help your first time here be all that it can be!
For those with children ages 0 thru 5th grade we have special, age appropriate programming designed specifically to help them experience the wonder of God. Our nursery and preschool rooms are staffed by volunteers who will love and watch over your children while they are in our care. Elementary school aged children will have a great time in Uptown Kids Children’s Church for a worship experience designed just for them! Check out our first time visitors area of the site for more information.
The Welcome Desk in our lobby is a great place to ask questions, find out more information about Calvary Church, and learn what’s going on in life of the church. There are lots of friendly people who would love to connect with you and help you out in any way that they can!
We understand that getting the whole family dressed and ready for church on a Sunday morning can be a big job! To help make it a little easier we offer a full, hot breakfast every Sunday in our dining room free of charge (donations accepted - but no obligation!) Biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, donuts and many other selections are available for your convenience. Oh yes, and don’t forget the coffee!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Our Sunday services are designed to help you connect with God on a personal level, be challenged and encouraged by His Word, and fellowship with others in a loving, encouraging atmosphere. Our worship is a time for you to communicate with God and experience His presence in your life, followed by teaching from the Bible that is both powerful and practical – Hope for life, help for living! And by the way, come dressed however you feel comfortable. No dress code here!
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR CHILDREN?
In addition to the children’s Sunday morning worship service we offer programming each Sunday (6:00pm) and Wednesday (6:30pm) evening for children. There are classes and activities for nursery, preschool and elementary school aged children that will have them excited about coming back each week. WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR STUDENTS?
Student ministry is a big part of our church. We believe in students and actively seek to equip them to live out their faith in the real world. We offer programming and studies each week on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm and Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm as well as opportunities for students to serve the community and grow in their relationships with their peers.
