Daniel serves as the High School Pastor at Calvary Church. He was born in Hayden, AL, and attended Trevecca Nazarene University, where he met his wife of eight years, Stefanie. They have a son, Logan, and a daughter, Karlie. When Daniel was 15 years old, he had the opportunity to attend the Nazarene General Assembly, where he felt God calling him into lifelong Christian service. As a result of that calling, Daniel has served in youth ministry for ten years in Nashville, TN, Cullman, AL, and he has been at Calvary Church since November, 2010.

Daniel enjoys anything outdoors. Some of his best memories are from fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking trips in various locations across the country. Many of these trips include teens, as Daniel sees the outdoors as an incredible way to spend time with God and friends. Often times you will hear him brag of a place he fly-fishes which he considers “just around the corner from heaven”. Football, paintball, basketball, dodgeball and ultimate frisbee are also favorite hobbies.

Pastor Daniel may be one of the most diverse people you will ever meet. While you may find him rebuilding car engines, riding dirt bikes, and repelling off of large buildings, you can also find Daniel enjoying things like sewing, cooking, and even making blankets. He loves sweet foods and thinks the closest thing we have to experiencing Heaven’s fine cuisine is probably the menu at The Cheesecake Factory.
