Thom serves as the Executive Pastor at Calvary Church. He was born in Louisville, Mississippi and grew up on the east coast where his father served most of his naval career. Thom graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, which is where he met his wife, Ronda. They have two grown children, Deanna and Michael, and four beautiful grandchildren.

Thom accepted Christ at the age of eight at Central Church of the Nazarene in Norfolk, Virginia. He says he first felt the stirrings of God in his spirit at a Navy Family Night movie event where the old black and white version or Pilgrim’s Progress was being shown. Thom felt a call to ministry during his sophomore year of college and spent most of his time in ministry leading worship and doing administrative work. While serving in Kansas City, Missouri, he earned an MBA from Mid-America Nazarene University.

Thom thoroughly enjoys traveling and reading anything pertaining to history. He also enjoys woodworking in his spare time.
