HOUSTON LEVEE COMMUNITY CENTER

The Houston Levee Community Center (HLCC) was conceived out of Calvary Church of the Nazarene in 2012 under the leadership of Pastor Lynn Holmes. Since that time, the Center has impacted families and youth all across Cordova and surrounding areas.  Outreach efforts have included full-day youth summer camps, Father-Daughter Dance, Fall Fest, youth basketball and volleyball leagues, open court adult and teen basketball, a Christmas Promise Dinner for local families in need. The Center has also offered adult classes in areas such as Christian Counseling, Anger Management, Addiction Recover, and Diabetes Awareness, as well as senior fitness programs. As a privately owned community center, we could not accomplish our goals without the incredible support of local community partners. The Lord has allowed HLCC to lead the way in uniting the Cordova community and we are honored to serve Him.
HLCC is located at 1801 N. Houston Levee Rd., next door to
Calvary Church.  To find out more about HLCC,

HELP SERVE OUR COMMUNITY!

The Mid-South Food Bank in partnership with HLCC and Calvary Church hosts mobile food pantries in the Cordova community.  This has to do with the availability of the food needed in a particular community.

Our food pantries typically serve over 300 families.  We follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

We would love to have your help in distributing to families.  If you would like to help with food distribution at these locations, please contact Michael Granderson at (303) 859-6603.
