Advent can be a difficult time of year, especially for those in the deepest and darkest throes of waiting for things to get better. Yet we know that the darkness has not overcome the light of Christ, so we have a great opportunity to learn how to rejoice even as we wait for all to be restored and made new.

Youth Christmas Party on December 14
Join us after service on December 14 till 3:30 pm for our Youth Christmas Party. Bring a $20 gift to play Dirty Santa/White Elephant. Girls bring a sweet treat and guys bring a salty treat. Also wear an ugly sweater to possibly win the ugly sweater contest!

ABOUT CALVARY CHURCH STUDENT MINISTRY
CCSM - Calvary Church Student Ministry is for students 6-12th grade in the Cordova-Memphis area. Everything we do comes down to a few simple ideas:
- Gather... on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. We talk about real things, connect about what is going on in our lives, grow closer to each other, and find a community that we can belong and grow with - we also eat food, play games and hang out.
- Go... To go is to leave our "gathering" times sent on the mission of God - which is God's redemption of all of creation. Our goal is to equip each student in our ministry to find their role in joining the mission of God.
- Together...All that we do in the rhythm of gathering and going is done together - in relationship. We want each student to be surrounded by peers and mentors that they know are there for them and know and love them.
